Miss Li – Dancing The Whole Way Home

The wonderful 2009 album from the quirky Miss Li.
Thoroughly enjoyable.
Another Apple Nano soundtrack, Bourgeois Shangri-La from this album.

Laleh – Me and Simon

The lovely Laleh Pourkarim has her third album out now.
The fist artist to appear here from Iran…

Kylie Auldist – Made of Stone

Some seriously funky and soulful sounds from this vocally talented Australian.

First Aid Kit – Drunken Trees

Klara and Johanna Söderberg have had to cancel gigs in the USA due to visa issues.
Obviously they are crazy sisters that carry bombs in their handbags and guitar cases.
Maybe it is just their talent that scares the Federal guys…
First Aid Kit – ‘Our Own Pretty Ways’ from the ‘Drunken Trees’ release
Danielia Cotton – Rare Child

Loving this album.
Lots of ups and downs on it. The opening track is a belter, and the rest of the tracks show her vocal range wonderfully.
Well worth checking out.

Trigeminal Neuralgia – Ouch!

I must apologise about the lack of posts.
About a month ago I was diagnosed with a nerve issue in my face which turns out to be called Trigeminal Neuralgia.
It basically affects three nerves that go to your lower/upper jaw and around your eye sockets.
It fools your brain into thinking that you are in constant pain from these areas.
A very nasty condition. You can read more about it through the links below.
The outcome was I had to take some pretty powerful drugs that basically knocked me out for the last few week, hence no posts. I am on different happy pills now, so let the posts continue.
