Lovely to add to my chilled playlist.
From 2005, but still solid.

Midori Hirano – Lush Rush

Midori Hirano - Hush Lush

I have been thoroughly chilling to this 2006 debut release from this talented lady from Japan.
A lovely mix of instrumental and minimal soft vocal tracks.
Very much Sigur Ros style.
This video is from her 2008 release which I haven’t managed to get hold of yet.

Japanese pop/electronica. I can never work out whether it is pure genius or utterly nuts. Whichever way, I love it.

Miho Hatori – Barracuda

miho-hatori

A great video from her album “Ecdysis”. It is refreshing to hear something from her solo wise.

You may of heard of her before from her involvement with the band Cibo Mato whose albums “Viva La Women”, and “Stereotype A” are also well worth checking out. Cibo sometimes miss the spot for me, but there are some great tracks in there.
