Laura Marling – A Creature I Don’t Know

Laura Marling - A Creature I Don't Know

Laura delivers a much more vibrant chapter in this her third musical adventure. It’s a narrative of sorts with lyrical elements intertwining the tracks throughout the album. Check out her fretwork on this mellow acoustic version of The Muse.
On the album she gets a bit more ballsy with her voice, which is good to see/hear.
Touring America at the moment with Alessi’s Ark as support.

Another fine collection of tracks out now from Laura. Played it back-to-back twice so far, and loving it.
Such a shame linking is disabled to her video for the opening track ‘Devil’s Spoke’.

Laura Marling - Alas I Cannot Swim cover

This is a stunning début release. Great voice, clever lyrics.
Calling it Alt/Folk would do it a disservice.
A great way to start spring time.

She gave away a free gig ticket in each limited release of this album.
Which is a neat idea.
